Setup Guide

Get MakiDJ up and running in minutes.

1. Invite MakiDJ

The first step is to invite the bot to your server. Click the link below and select the server you want to add MakiDJ to:

2. Set Permissions

Ensure MakiDJ has the necessary permissions in your server to function properly. The bot requires the following permissions in the channels where it will be used:

  1. 1.View Channels: To read commands.
  2. 2.Send Messages: To respond to commands and show the music player.
  3. 3.Connect: To join voice channels.
  4. 4.Speak: To play audio in voice channels.

3. Create a Dedicated Channel (Optional)

For the best experience, we recommend using the /setup command. This creates a dedicated channel where users can simply type the name of a song or a URL without needing to use the /play prefix!

Just run /setup and MakiDJ will handle the rest, creating a sleek player interface that stays at the bottom of the channel.

4. Start Playing Music!

Join a voice channel and type /play followed by your favorite song, artist, or a link. Sit back and enjoy high-quality music playback with your friends!
